Three coaches nominated for the Ghana Premier League NASCO Coach of the Month award for December

Three outstanding coaches in the Ghana Premier League have been shortlisted for the NASCO Coach of the Month Award for December, following impressive tactical displays and a strong positive impact on their teams’ performances. The nominees are Abdul Karim Zito of Asante Kotoko, Ibrahim Tanko of Medeama SC, and Johnson Smith of Basake Holy Stars FC.

Abdul Karim Zito (Asante Kotoko) Zito enjoyed a productive month, guiding Asante Kotoko to three wins and one defeat. Kotoko were the most prolific side among the nominees, scoring nine goals while conceding just one, highlighting their attacking efficiency and defensive solidity. Ibrahim Tanko (Medeama SC) Tanko remained unbeaten throughout December, recording two wins and two draws. Medeama SC scored four goals and conceded only two, with Tanko’s tactical acumen playing a key role in the club maintaining top spot on the league table at the end of the month. Johnson Smith (Basake Holy Stars FC) Smith made an immediate impact after taking charge, leading Basake Holy Stars to an unbeaten run in December. His side secured two wins and two draws, scoring five goals and conceding just once, underlining a solid start to his tenure.

The winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO television, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited.
