Tema Youth have been ducked six points and six goals by the Disciplinary Committee from their accumulated tally on the Glo Premier League standings.

The Disciplinary Committee’s decision is as result of two cases brought against the Tema side by Berekum Arsenals and Eleven Wise over the eligibility of player, Emmanuel Clottey.

Both clubs – Arsenals and Wise -, who lodged the protest have thus been credited with three points and three goals apiece.

“In the light of the above findings, the Committee decides that:

A – Tema Youth FC forfeits its 10th May 2009 premier league match with Berekum Arsenals for fielding an unqualified player in the person of Emmanuel Clottey in line with GFA regulations article 34.1 g.

B - Tema Youth FC forfeits its 17th May 2009 premier league against Sekondi Eleven Wise for fielding the same unqualified player in line with GFA regulations article 34.1 g.

C- Berekum Arsenals and Wise are awarded three points and three goals each in line with GFA regulations Article 34.10.

D – Player Emmanuel Clottey is suspended from participating in matches and competitions organized by the GFA for a period of one year for breaching GFA regulations Article 26. 3 b in line with Article 29.2 b of the GFA regulations.”
