Tema Youth have recovered from their Match Day setback to win their last three matches in the Division One League.
The Harbour Warriors who had a flying start to the season with a 3-1 against Golden Kicks suffered a 1-0 loss to Accra City Stars on the second day of the season. However they have been resolute then on with a three match winning streak which has taken them to the top of the Zone Three table.
Dennis Hutor and Evans Osei Wusu scored on Wednesday when they took on Inter Allies at the Dawu Park to them to 12 points after five matches.
Their next fixture is against newly promoted side Akatsi All Stars at home. The debutants have had a roller coaster campaign pivking only one win, losing three and drawing one.
The statistics tilt things in favour of the leaders in this encounter as Tema Youth have scored 10 and conceded 5 with a very strong record at home.
Liberty Professionals shocked Hearts of Lions on Wednesday with a 1-0 away win at the Kpando Park. The once upon a time powerhouse of Ghana football lost all four of their opening matches until the win against Lions.
The scientific soccer lads will play Tudu Mighty Jets FC at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday. Mighty Jets are 3rd in the table with 12 points – same as Tema Youth and Accra City Stars FC.
Kotoku Royals who are in 4th place with 10 points will lock horns with Accra Young Wise FC at the Oda Park on Sunday.
