Reginald Lartey scored a brace as Tema Youth beat Kwaebibirem FC 3-0 on Match Day 12 of the Division One League to keep hold of the 1st spot in Zone Three.

The youngster opened the scoring for the Harbour Warriors in the 4th minute after capitalizing on a defensive error to tamp home. The early goal unsettled the defence of the visitors as they always found life difficult any time Tema Youth attacked. One of such onslaughts resulted in the second goal in the 33rd through Reginald Lartey for his second of the day as Tema Youth went into the break with a 2-0 advantage.

The home side added to the tally in the 67th minute as Adjei Martei received a pass on the edge of the box – went passed two players before firing home to extend their lead - this time putting the game beyond Kwaebibirem FC.

The win keeps Tema Youth at the top of the League log with 25 points after 8 wins, 3 defeats and 1 draw in the 12 week old League competition.

Second Oda Kotoku Royals recovered from their two match winless run to beat Akatsi All Stars 1-0 at the Oda Park on Sunday.

Richard Dzikoe scored the only goal of the match on the half hour mark to give the home side all the spoils – a result that has lifted them from third to second in the log with 24 points – one point behind leaders Tema Youth.
