Tema Youth defeated Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0 in their second Group A game to qualify for the semi-finals of the maiden Division One League Super Cup.

The Tema lads who beat Bofoakwa Tano by a similar goal margin on the opening day of the competition dispatched their opponents at the Madina Astro Turf Friday morning. After a barren first half, danger man Evans Osei Wusu who provided the assist in the first game against Bofoakwa Tano shot his side into the lead with a wonderful individual effort inside 68 minutes.

The win gives Tema Youth a One Hundred Per cent winning record in the tournament – having won two, conceded none and scored two.

With a semi-final place already secured, the Harbour Warriors will next play Skyy FC in their final Group A game on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Madina Astro Turf.

The day’s other match is between Skyy FC and Bofoakwa Tano at 3pm.
