President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has expressed gratitude to Tanink Ghana Limited and Chery for coming on board to support the operation of the Association.

He remarked that the partnership is bigger than one can think of. President Simeon-Okraku was speaking at the announcement of the one-year partnership deal between Tanink Ghana Limited, Chery and the Football Association on Thursday, November 11, 2022.

The two entities have entered into a one-year deal that would see Tanink Ghana Limited provide three brand new Chery SUV Vehicles valued at $120,000 and a cash component of $100,000 to the Ghana Football Association.

‘’We are very grateful. This kind of contribution will definitely aid us in our attempt to make our domestic football what it’s supposed to be’’ President Simeon-Okraku said.

‘’In our attempt to bring back the love for the sport which was deserted years ago, in our attempt to provide food on the table of young boys and girls who would not normally have that opportunity’’.

‘’We are providing the platform for kids from the woods of Ghana to develop their dreams to become real and earn a living. At the same time, we are developing our national teams to be competitive and position the brand Ghana into the hearts and minds of millions of people beyond the shores of Ghana’’.

‘’So Tanink Ghana, do not see this contribution as a very small one. Believe me, it is much bigger than you can think of. It is a feat that you will not regret and will be remembered by my good self as the leader of the Football Association and by everybody who works with our Football Association’’.

‘’Ghana football is appreciative; our sports will be developed because this investment is worth a life of a human being. Together, we will make our football great and strong, our Black stars and all our national teams will be competitive and will conquer’’ he added.
