Tamale City FC have secured qualification for the 2025–26 Division One League playoffs after topping Zone One A with two games to spare. The former Premier League side were locked in a tight battle with city rivals Real Tamale United but sealed their spot having lost only twice in 26 matches.

Tamale City have amassed 54 points from 15 wins, 9 draws, and 2 defeats. They will face Zone One B leaders Debibi United in the playoff final.
