Prince Tagoe is ready to flourish again, hoping his move to Turkish side Bursaspor will bring the best out him.

The 24-year-old left Germany’s Hoffenheim to sign a three-year deal with Bursaspor on Wednesday night.

Tagoe told BBC Sport that he would become a key player as long as he is given playing time.

“My only motivation for the move to Turkey is to play regular football,” Tagoe said.

The striker spent six months on loan in Serbia with Partizan Belgrade last season and scored 16 goals, helping them to win the league and FA Cup.

“I spent the last season on loan at Partizan Belgrade and everyone saw my potential and quality.

“But sitting on the bench at Hoffenheim was unacceptable for me and I had to make a decision to advance my career.

“That is why I took the move to Turkey – and I hope I can realise my potential there and take my club to better places.”
