Goran Stevanovic has told his players to keep their focus on the immediate task, Ghana's African Nations Cup qualifier against Swaziland on Friday.

The Black Stars would take on the Swazis in the Group I penultimate fixture in the qualifying for the 2012 competition at the Accra Sports Stadium.

And the qualifier comes three days before the high profile international friendly against Brazil in London. But Stevanovic says the team's priority is to secure victory in Accra and maintain top spot in Group I.

“I don’t want to talk about Brazil because for me the focus is on the Swaziland game,” the Serb said after his first training session on Monday.

“We must win this game and leave a good impression in front of our home fans while also getting the needed three points.”

The Black Stars sit top of Group I with a better goal advantage ahead of Sudan. Stevanovic explains that the team would give everything on Friday to maintain their position.

“I promise we’ll give off our best and we want all Ghanaians to join in because these people (players) deserve it.”
