Sulley Muntari wants more goals from Ghana, in case the 2012 African Nations Cup qualifying race comes down to goal difference.

The Black Stars top Group I with 7 points but with a better goal difference ahead of Sudan after three games in the qualifying campaign.

Despite the closeness of the qualifying race, Sulley wants Ghana to remain top of standings even if Sudan continues to stay level on points.

“This group is very tough with Sudan chasing us so goals will be important by the final match in the group and that’s what we are aware of,” the Inter Milan midfielder said ahead of today.

Though the midfielder is craving for more goals, he says the Congolese would not be easy opponents.

“This [hopes of scoring more goals] doesn’t mean we are taking them lightly. This means we are going to attack them from the blast of the whislte to the end to bring the desired victory to our country. We will be very cautious too when defending."

Ghana won the reverse fixture in Brazzaville in March this year 3-0 with Sulley scoring on the day together with Prince Tagoe and Dominic Adiyiah.
