Ghana and Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has been banned for three games by the Italian league on Tuesday.

Sulley received a direct red card Saturday when he was adjudged to have hit Catania's Giacomo Tedesco in the face during Inter's 2-1 win over the weekend.

Inter signed Muntari, a Ghana international, from Portsmouth during the offseason.
