Date: June 3, 2011

Goran Stevanovic feels he has the depth of quality to sustain Ghana's qualifying hopes for a place at the 2012 African Nations Cup.

Ghana plays Congo today in the fourth round of qualifiers in Group I as the Black Stars sit top of the standings with 7 points but with a better goal difference ahead of Sudan.

Stevanovic admits that there are bound to be quality players sitting on the bench but he's comfortable to be presented with a selection headache as Ghana aims to beat the Congolese in Kumasi.

“It’s impossible to start with 12 or 15 players. We have a good team and in modern football it’s very important to have a good bench too and you will never know every game is a story for us.

“I’m very satisfied and I feel that a positive energy is in motion. I’m sure all Ghanaian people and the fans in Kumasi support us very well.”

Today's game at the Baba Yara Stadium will be the Serbian's debut home game since joining Ghana in January this year.
