Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has called up Rennes defender John Boye for Friday's qualifier against Swaziland in Accra.

Boye replaces captain John Mensah who has been ruled out through injury.

The Rennes defender will also be part of the squad for next Monday's international friendly with Brazil at the Cravern Cottage in London.

Ghana plays the Swazis at the Accra Sports Stadium in the penultimate Group I reverse fixture before turning their attentions to the friendly in London three days later.

The Black Stars sit top of Group I with a better goal advantage ahead of Sudan.
