Stars beat club side in CHAN test game

Ghana defeated former Kenya Premier League champions Tusker FC 3-2 in a friendly today in Kenya.

The local Black Stars, who are preparing for next month’s African Nations Championship - CHAN in Sudan, dominated the home side in a thrilling game.

Gilbert Fiamenyo put coach Herbert Addo's side in front in the first half when he who headed home a cross to end the opening half 1-0 for Ghana.

Ghana doubled their lead when Mohammed Sabato's shot found the bottom corner before Tusker pulled one back through defender Joseph Shikokoti who scored from close range.

However, Ghana restored their two goal lead through a spectacular long range freekick by Emmanuel Clottey from 40 yards.

Tusker came back and Nigerian import Joseph Emeka scored to make it 3-2.

Ghana's 23-man final squad have been camping in Kenya ahead of the tournament designed by CAF for only home-based players of its member countries.
