Starlets up for Ivorian friendly

The junior national team, the Black Starlets would be up for a third international friendly on Sunday since the FIFA World Cup in Korea.

Ghana's junior side would play the Ivory Coast at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to mark the reopening of 40,528 capacity stadium.

The stadium, now an all-seater had been under reconstruction spanning a two-year period as Ghana prepares to use it one of the four venues host the Africa of Nations.

A 20-man Black Starlets squad have been preparing for Sunday's game at the national camp, the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram.

The Black Starlets played a similar match against Togo to open up the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra last month.

And team coach, Emmanuel Quarshie would look to pick his starting eleven from the 20-man team called for camping this week.
