Soccer Intellectuals face Hasaacas Ladies in southern zone

Hasaacas ladies travel to Ajumako while Ladystrikers host Faith Ladies on Matchday six of the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League. Essiam Socrates and Sea lions are still in search of their first win when they play away to Jonina ladies and Police ladies respectively.


Ladystrikers welcome Faith Ladies in the week six fixture of the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

Strikers will seek to make amends after suffering three straight defeats to Police Ladies, Hasaacas Ladies and Berry Ladies in the process.

Their only win is a 2:1 home victory over debutants Jonina Ladies with goals from skipper Edem Atovor.

Faith Ladies on the other hand are currently 6th on the log with 7 points after twp wins and one draw from their first five games of the season.

Even though they drew, they may rely on the away win choked by Police at the Robert Mensah Stadium to fight for victory.


Hasaacas Ladies will continue their Zonal title defense when they trek to Ajumako to play as guest of Soccer Intellectuals. The two teams are going into the game with wins over their opponents over the weekend.

The host beat Essiam Socrates 2:1 on the road whereas Hasaacas handed Army ladies their first defeat of the season with the same margin. Hasaacas are favorites to carry the day with the return of 5 players from the national assignment

Hasaacas boast of squad depth and player quality compared to their opponent and with their title aspirations still on the cards, it promises to be a tough one for Soccer Intellectuals.

Socrates are have had a poor start to the season as they lie in 9th place - having gone five games without a win whilst their host are 7th in the table with 4 points.


Army Ladies welcome City rivals, Berry Ladies in an epic encounter at the Mats park in Teshie.

Army Ladies who tasted their first defeat of the season on match day five return home this weekend with the plan to return to winning ways after that painful loss to Hasaacas Ladies.

Berry Ladies won their last league game against Lady Strikers and are looking forward to extend their winning streak against AArmy side.

The last league meeting between these two sides ended in an impressive victory for Berry Ladies with Jafaru Rahama scoring the only goal of the game.

The two teams are tied on ten points each going into this weekends game.
