Former Super Cup winners Skyy FC pip Zone Two rivals Nzema Kotoko 1-0 to maintain their unbeaten run in the 2023 Division One League Super Cup.

The Daboase based side were the first team to qualify for the semifinals following victories over Bofoakwa Tano and Young Apostles in the opening round of matches.

Skyy FC who have been one of the best sides in the tournament, headed into their final Group B game looking to maintain their run. Forward Akwasi Sarpong scored the only goal of the match in the 23rd minute to hand them a hard earned win - their third straight win in the tournament.

In the other Group B encounter - Bofoakwa Tano humbled rivals Young Apostles 2-1 to advance to the semifinals.

The win takes Bofoakwa Tano to the second spot in the Group where they will play winner of Group A in the semifinals.
