
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Egyptian referee Shahenda Saad Ali Elmaghrabi to take charge of the third-place playoff between Ghana and South Africa at the 2024 WAFCON.
The match is scheduled to be played on 25th July 2025 at Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca, kicking off at 19:00 GMT. Elmaghrabi will be supported by an experienced team of officials, including:
Assistant Referee I: Yara Atef (Egypt)
Assistant Referee II: Houda Afine (Tunisia)
Fourth Official: Dorsaf Ganouati (Tunisia)
Assistant Referee III: Mariem Chedad (Mauritania)
Other match officials include, Referee Assessor Khadija Rezzag (Morocco), Match Commissioner Sainabou Cham (Gambia) and General Coordinator Sara Bilali (Morocco). This clash promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams vie for a podium finish in the tournament.
