Ghana might have won their second Group 5 game in the 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup qualifier against Lesotho but team coach, Sellas Tetteh has some concerns.

A lack of concentration in added time almost cost Ghana the three points.

After heading into a 3-0 lead within 90 minutes with goals from Laryea Kingston and a Junior Agogo brace, the Black Stars saw their lead cut as Lesotho scored twice in three minutes of added time to end the game 3-2.

And that has left Black Stars coach, Sellas Tetteh with something to think about as he rues the team’s lack of concentration in the closing stages of their game against Lesotho.

“We were heading for a very good win, we had dominated the game but the way we lost concentration is not good enough. It should not have happened,” Sellas Tetteh said after the game on Sunday.

Ghana would play Gabon next in the Group 5 qualifiers in Libreville this weekend and Sellas Tetteh would be seeking to keep his team focused throughout the game though he says the concession of two goals should not take away from another brilliant display.

“At the end of the day we have six points; we have scored six goals and have played some wonderful attacking football in the two games so far. It has been a very good start and that is very important.”

Ghana sits at the summit of Group 5 with six maximum points.
