Junior team coach Sellas Tetteh appears a bit satisfied coach despite watching the Black Starlets hit four goals past Trinidad & Tobago in the opening Group F game at the FIFA World Under-17 champions.

Ghana opened its campaign with a 4-1 win over Trinidad & Tobago at the Cheonan Sports Complex.

Before half time, Sellas' charges had raised into a 3-0 lead through a brace from Ransford Osei and Sadick Adams.

The Trinidadians with ten minutes to end the game pulled a consolation but the Black Starlets stepped up briefly as second half substitute, Kelvin Bossman stroked in the fourth Ghana goal.

Sellas Tetteh, though happy says his team who had the better of the exchanges would need to step up the pace of play in the remaining games.

"I'm very satisfied. The lads have done very well and played entertaining football, especially in the first 45 minutes.

"I have to say I'm not entirely satisfied with the second half, we slowed the pace far too much. If we want to win the tournament, we've got to keep it up for the full 90 minutes," the Ghana coach said as he awaits his team's next game on Thursday.

Black Starlets captain, Paul Addo explains that getting off to a winning start is most important.

"We played very well today. It was important to make a successful start, and we'll be confident about our remaining matches now. It'll be tough against Germany, but we still have every chance of winning."

Ghana, who top the table take on European side, Germany in the second group game at the Cheonan Sports Complex.
