Berekum Chelsea head coach Samuel Boadu has been named the NASCO Coach of the Month for April/May, beating competition from Dreams FC’s Winfred Dormon and Medeama SC’s Ibrahim Tanko.

Boadu earned the award after guiding Berekum Chelsea to an impressive run of form, recording five victories in seven matches during the period. His side’s only defeat came against FC Samartex 1996 on Matchday 29.

Under his guidance, Berekum Chelsea showed consistency at both ends of the pitch, scoring 12 goals and conceding just four.

In recognition of his achievement, Boadu will receive a 43-inch NASCO television and a NASCO double-door bottom-freezer refrigerator, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited, sponsors of the NASCO Coach of the Month award.
