Samartex unbeaten in six matches, New Edubiase humble Deportivo, Skyy FC beat annihilate Achiken – Zone Two Results

Samartex 1996 extended their winning run six in Zone two as they beat Wassaman 3-0 on Match Day six of the Division One League.

The Sameraboi lads - sit at the top of the League log with 18 points – having won all their six matches, scored 10 and conceded none. Their their flying start continued on Sunday when they battered Wassaman FC 3-0 to extend their lead at the top.

Third placed Sekondi Hasaacas returned to winning ways on Wednesday after posting a 2-1 win against Basake Holy Stars. But the Doo boys suffered a 1-0 to Nzema Kotoko with Richard Asare scoring the only goal of the match on Sunday.

Asokwa Deportivo were nailed 3-1 by New Edubiase United on Saturday. Isaac Mintah’s brace and Richmond Acheampong’s opener was all they needed to beat the host.

Amadu Aminu scored for Deportivo but it wasn’t enough to rescue them as they fell flat to the visitors. Edubiase now move to 15 points while Deportivo stay on 6 points.
