Real Tamale United and Starke FC have been ordered to play away from home any home fixture, pending the determination of a disciplinary hearing.

This follows the temporary closure of the Tamale Sports Stadium and the Dunkwa Park by the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association as a result of crowd troubles.

The GFA says the safety of people cannot be be guaranteed at such grounds following reports of physical assault on match officials in separate incidents.

Real Tamale United will not play any competitive game at their Tamale grounds following the physical assault of an assistant referee after their MTN FA Cup match with UCC Youngsters played on December 23, 2013.

The Dunkwa Park will be closed to Starke FC after the unfortunate incident of physical assault by the Chairman and Supporters of the Club on the match officials after their game with Hasaacas played on December 22, 2013 in the MTN FA Cup competition.

The GFA said in a statement: "This decision is in accordance with Article 15 (2) of the GFA Regulations which states that the GFA may order the closure of any league centre where the safety of Clubs, Match officials and Spectators cannot be guaranteed.

"The decision is not prejudice to a determination of the case by the Disciplinary Committee."

The Disciplinary Committee have been directed to hear the case in accordance with the Regulations of the Association.
