Three outstanding games in the OneTouch Premier League would be cleared Wednesday afternoon.

Real Tamale United have a great opportunity to revive their flagging fortunes in the league today when they come up against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Tamale-based team have lost their shine after going four games without a win and that has affected their position on the standings following a rather good start to the season. But a poor second round showing has seen RTU consistently drop on the table as they hold onto the 12th position.

RTU, certainly need a lift and that might have to start today at the Tamale Sports Stadium where they would be hosting the league leaders.

A whopping 24 points separates the leaders, Kotoko, from their opponents ahead of the game and that could been extended if Real Tamale United should lose.

Twenty-four points might be the difference between the two teams scheduled to play in Tamale but in Accra, Heart of Lions lag behind Kotoko by 10 points and the Kpando-based side would try to pick up a win to either cut down the lead depending on the result in the Northern part or maintain the difference.

Heart of Lions would be up against defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, who are out of contention for the trophy.

The Phobians have had a torrid season as they try to maintain peace in the hierarchy following the resignation of management head, Harry Zakkour, last week.

A home win for Hearts of Oak would bring some relief to the disgruntled following who are hoping for a top four finish but Lions can claim a double over the Phobians after winning the reverse fixture in Kpando 2-0.

And at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, debut campaigners, Zaytuna FC would seek to move clear off the relegation zone when they come up against King Faisal, who would be playing at home.
