Former Premier League side Elmina Sharks are the only side to beat the league leaders, heading into this weekend's fixture against second-placed Nsuopon Fidelity at the Dr. Papa Kwasi Nduom Sports Complex at Elmina. Sharks are 7th in the league log with 15 points – 4 points behind their opponents – but go into the match buoyed by their win over FC AshantiGold 04 two weeks ago.

Also in the mix is the match between two former Premier League sides, Sekondi Eleven Wise and New Edubiase United, at the Sekondi Gyandu Park. Eleven Wise are third from bottom with 11 points, while New Edubiase United occupies the 10th position with 14 points.
