The premier league game between Asante Kotoko and Hasaacas that was scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium has been postponed.

Attempts to drain the playing surface which has been covered with rain water failed leading to the cancellation of the match-day-28 fixture.

Match referee Joseph Lamptey after inspecting the field asked the groundsmen to drain the water but their attempts could not render the pitch ready for the game.

The Porcupine Warriors chasing the league title were billed to play Hasaacas in one of the match-day-28 fixtures on Wednesday but both sides would return to the grounds on Thursday, 9 July.
