The World Cup draw has been made and the talk and build up has already begun.

Paired in Group G against Germany, Portugal and Ghana, the United States will get their campaign off against familiar opponents, the Black Stars.

It will be the third time in a row that both nations will be meeting at the World Cup after clashes in 2006 and 2010 and United States coach Jurgen Klinsman has given his take on the draw.

Klinsmann's reaction: "I had a feeling in my stomach we’d get Germany. It’s one of the most difficult groups in the whole draw. Including having Portugal and Ronaldo, Ghana’s history with USA and of course Germany it couldn’t get more difficult or any bigger. But that’s what the World Cup is about and we’ll take it. Hopefully we’ll surprise some people there. We’re going to be prepared were going to be confident. Winning in Italy, getting a result in Russia will help us in our preparations."

Ghana will open their World Cup group campaign against the United States on June 16 following Friday's draw for the 32 qualified nations.
