Milovan Rajevac has not tinkered with his squad as he leads the Black Stars to Nelspruit in South Africa where Ghana begins preparations for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.

Media speculation in Accra has suggested that injuries has forced the coach into making some changes to his 23-man squad announced last week but the Ghana Football Association denies such reports.

The local media reported that Sulley Muntari, Derek Boateng and Eric Bekoe will be handed places in the team as replacements for some injured players.

But the FA spokesman Randy Abbey, today confirmed that no such changes have been made or communicated by the coach, insisting that the players announced in the 23-man squad for the tournament remains unchanged.

“The coach has not told us that he is about to make any changes to the squad so we are sticking to our list," Ghana FA spokesman Randy Abbey said.

"The coach has named his squad, he has not made any changes so Ghanaians are backing the team for victory in Angola."

Ghana's team will commence preparations for the tournament on December 28 in Nelspruit, in the north-eastern part of South Africa before travelling to Angola for the start of the competition.

The Black Stars have been drawn in Group B of the CAN where they will face Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo in an all-West African battle.

The tournament begins on 10 January 2010 in Luanda and reaches it climax at the same venue on January 31.
