Two lower division sides have confirmed their premiership places for the 2011/2012 season piling the pressure on any of the seven sides who could possibly swap places.

With Berekum Chelsea officially champions of Ghana football for their first time and B.A. Stars already relegated from the premier league, the race to avoid the drop continues to dominate the competition.

The competition has two games to spare.

Ebusua Dwarfs, Liberty, All Stars, King Faisal, Berekum Arsenals, Mighty Jets and Real Tamale United still remain uncertain about their premiership status.

Mighty Jets boosted their survival hopes after beating Asante Kotoko 2-0 on Saturday at the Ohene Djan Stadium but results 24 hours later has sent them back into the bottom three.

King Faisal improved their chances after beating New Edubiase 3-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium with a brace from Wahab Yahaya and an Ekow Annan strike.

Arsenals won the Berekum derby, beating champions, Chelsea 4-3. Stephen Amankwah and Nana Poku both grabbed a brace each while Emmanuel Clottey hit a hat-trick to move top the goalking chart with 15 goals to his credit.

Dwarfs were undone by a late Gilbert Fiamenyo goal for Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park.

Goalkeeper Daniel Agyei scored from the spot but it wasn't enough to earn Liberty Professionals a point as they lost 2-1 to Medeama in Tarkwa. Kasim Adams and Kabiru Imoro scored for the home side.

Real Tamale United won 3-0 against bottom side, B.A. Stars, handing them a chance of preserving their 30-year top-flight status, though they are second from bottom and still involved in the relegation dogfight.

A brace by Benjamin Boateng and an individual effort from Iddrisu Moro handed RTU all the spoils at home.

Wa All Stars claimed a point off AshantiGold in their goalless draw game at the Len Clay Stadium.

Hearts of Oak remain safe after Douglas Nkrumah scored to give them a 1-0 win over Aduana Stars in Accra.
