Ghana finally looked good, producing a result against Latvia which will serve as a timely confidence boost before into the World Cup finals.
An 88th minute goal from second half substitute Quincy Owusu-Abeyie helped the Black Stars to finish their last warm up game 1-0 at the Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.
It was the perfect end after Rajevac's side had dominated possession for large swathes of the game despite spurning enough chances.
With Milovan Rajevac opting to make eight changes to the team that lasted started in the defeat to Holland, the Black Stars started the game with Kevin Prince Boateng making his Ghana debut.
Striker Asamoah Gyan hit the underside of the bar in the first half with Kwadwo Asamoah blasting off the crossbar after he was put through by Gyan.
Those opportunities appeared to be the best chances in the first half as Ghana returned from recess with Rajevac making his first of five changes.
Dominic Adiyiah was brought on for Asamoah Gyan as Ghana still searched for the opener.
Latvia occasionally broke forward, working their way through the middle but lacked the sort of finishing that denied Ghana the game's opener.
Rajevac ringed other changes, sending on Stephen Appiah, Jonathan Mensah, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie and Derek Boateng for Kwadwo Asamoah, John Mensah, Prince Tagoe and Kevin Prince Boateng in that order.
The Black Stars went close and had a goal by Adiyiah ruled out for an offside.
Quincy's first effort as goal flew way above the crossbar but with two minutes before normal time, he found his way in the middle and outside the arc of the box, he fired a shot which Andris Vanins failed to grab, slipping into the net.
The final whistle was greeted by jubilation at the Stadium MK as fans mobbed the Black Stars who would depart London on Sunday for South Africa.
Ghana kick off the World Cup against Serbia before facing Australia and Germany in Group D.
