Ghana could not sustain their winning start to the African Women Championship after losing 1-2 to Cameroon on Friday.

The result in Sinaba leaves the Black Queens with a must win job on their hands when they meet champions Equatorial Guinea on Monday in the final Group B match.

Agnes Aduako put Ghana in the lead in the 25th minute as she scored her third goals in the competition.

But the Cameroonians drew level from the spot five minutes later before a deflected shot found its way into the net for the match winner in the 37th minute.

Still on three points, Ghana remains a point behind leaders Cameroon and next opponents Equatorial Guinea who are both on four points with Algeria bottom on the standings after losing their two games.

The Black Queens must win their next game to secure a semi-final place.
