Promotion joy for Bechem, Tema Youth

The road for premiership football is over for the pretenders as two contenders qualify for the 2011/2012 season.

Bechem FC would be making their Premier League debut next season after winning promotion today victory over Guan United on the final day of matches in Zone I.

The Brong Ahafo side, making their third attempt at gaining qualification beat Guan 2-0 at the Tema Stadium.

It was bad news for Unity FC, despite their 2-0 Bazooka FC as Bechem's win meant that their efforts did not count on the last day.

Two season's after being relegated, Tema Youth will stage a comeback to the topflight following a thumping 4-1 win against D'international.

Both sides were joint-top going into the final day match but Tema Youth proved efficient on the day as either side needed a win to secure premiership football.

Tete Atenpong drew 1-1 with King Solomon in the other game at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

One last premiership slot would determined in Zone II.
