The Black Princesses remain hopeful of qualification to the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup when they play against the Falconets of Nigeria.

Two places are up for grabs on the continent as Ghana hope to pull a convincing win away to make the selection of the continent’s representatives for the fourth edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The match at the National Stadium in Abuja is the last game in the qualifying series for the World Cup that will be held in Chile November/December this year.

Wednesday’s game was initially scheduled to be held last weekend but had to moved to today because of a 2010 FIFA World Cup/African Nations Cup qualifying game.

Ghana, after losing the first leg 3-2 in Accra are not deterred, playing Nigeria, who would be at home, says Mumuni Gamel, coach of the Black Princesses.

"The dream is not over. We are convinced we can also beat them at their backyard."

Nigeria have an advantage after coming back into the game in Accra from two goals down to win it 3-2 but Gamel is sure Ghana can claim victory.

"We have prepared for the game, and we are not far from causing a surprise."
