The premier league enters the penultimate round this weekend with the match-ups for Sunday revealing some interesting fixtures.

Leaders, Chelsea, having opened a six-point gap at the top would be looking to possibly consolidate their lead when Liberty Professionals visit the Golden City Park.

Though Liberty would be aiming to deny the home team the chance to extend their lead, Chelsea's form points to a home win.

Champions Aduana Stars who sit in second and six points off the leaders would be pushing the top with many more games to be played.

Aduana welcome Heart of Lions, a side who continue to fall off the pace at the top in Dormaa.

From Premier League title contenders, Asante Kotoko now need to battle their way above a place in relegation.

More pressure could be heaped on Kotoko as they chase for a first win in seven games with their travel to the Robert Mensah Stadium where they play Ebusua Dwarfs. A poor run has seen the Porcupine Warriors lose five of their last six games and drawn one - their best result so far.

Kotoko, lying 13th and level on points with the third from bottom side appear in crisis and short in confidence but could turn around their campaign and lift themselves from the lower ranks of the table if they manage a win. Defeat could possibly see Kotoko sink into the relegation net depending on the result of the match between B.A Stars and Mighty Jets.

Former leaders, Kessben FC, who were knocked off the summit four weeks ago would attempt to rediscover their form after last weekend's humiliating away loss to Real Tamale United.

Bashir Hayford's side take on joint-second, All Stars at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

Title contenders Hearts of Oak, lying fifth on the standings will try to improve on their performances with the visit of Berekum Arsenals to the Ohene Djan Stadium.

AshantiGold travel to the Gyemfis Park to meet New Edubiase while B.A. Stars host Mighty Jets at the Coronation Park.

After picking up an important win last weekend, bottom side Real Tamale United would attempt to reproduce another winning form when they play King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium to wrap up the weekend's round of match-day-14 fixtures.
