The Premier League Board (PLB) has learnt with utter disappointment attacks on Mr Albert Commey Aryeetey, Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars after their 29th week Ghana Premier League match with Wa All Stars in Wa on Wednesday.

The PLB condemns such display of intolerance, regardless of whatever provocation that may have ignited the attack. Physically assaulting any person at a league center is a criminal offense, which the PLB does not support.

As the Ghana Premier League comes to a close this weekend with stakes high at some league centres, the PLB calls on all stakeholders, particularly club officials, match officials and fans to adhere strictly to the tenets of the game to avoid further chaos.

The 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season has been largely successful and the onus is on all stakeholders to ensure that the league ends on a positive note.

Those who take the law into their own hands to bring the game into disrepute will be decisively dealt with in accordance with the law.
