The Arday and Hemans families have officially informed the Ghana Football Association of the sudden death of their beloved son and ex national team coach Sam Hemans Arday.

This sad event occurred on Sunday 12 February 2017 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.

Coach Arday, affectionately called 'The Multi System Man' who was a retired Superintendent of Police died at the age of 71 years old.

As an accomplished coach, he guided various Ghanaian national football teams to international success.

He is survived by two children,  a son and a daughter.

 A book of condolence will be opened at his father's residence at house No. A364/4, Ayikoi Teiko Cresent, Lartebiokorshie, from Saturday 18th February 2017.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
