President Simeon-Okraku joins Sports Minister, Deputy to visit Black Queens

President Simeon-Okraku and Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif have visited the Black Queens in Accra.

Accompanied by Deputy Sports Minister Evans Bobie (Hon.) and Management Committee Chairperson, Dr. Gifty Oware Mensah, the President told the players that the visit was to reassure them of the unflinching support of the football fraternity.

He further urged them to remain committed to the course even though the upcoming game against Zambia will be a tough one.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Mustapha Yusif (Hon.) also assured the players of the ministry's committment to fulfilling all promises made and added that all outstanding bonuses will be cleared.

Captain Portia Boakye, thanked the President, the Hon. Minister and his delegation for visiting them and also aassured that the team is capable enough to complete the job on Friday.

The Black Queens will take on the Copper Queens of Zambia in the 1st leg of the third round Olympic qualifiers scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium at 5:00pm on Friday, February 23, 2024.
