Wednesday’s round of games in the Glo Premier League throws up interesting fixtures as a host of clubs still attempt to position themselves before the international calendar takes up the stage over the weekend.

After passing the opportunity to go top of the standings, Asante Kotoko travel to the Golden City Park in midweek as the competition heads into the international break.

The match-day-6 pairings presents the Porcupine Warriors with a rather difficult fixture against Berekum Arsenals, who managed a point away in Wa on Sunday.

Berekum has always been a difficult place for Kotoko to pick the points as the home team are expected to claw all the three points.

Leaders Kessben after being handed a humiliating defeat by newcomers Mighty Jets return to the Sekondi Sports Stadium where they host New Edubiase.

However Kessben would have to do without attacker Lanquaye Anum who suffered a fractured leg on Sunday as they seek to return to winning ways.

As the leaders look for a win, Mighty Jets would be attempting to continue with their winning run but would have to deal with the difficult task of battling AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium.

The Miners are a step above bottom and would need to turn their season around after coming inches close to lifting the title during the last campaign.

Champions Aduana Stars who played out a goalless draw on Sunday would be at home to B.A. Stars.

Hearts of Oak appear to discovered a little bit of their form after their impressive away win against B.A. Stars and the Phobians would be looking at building on that victory when they host Chelsea to the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The rivalry between Real Tamale United and All Stars would be renewed at the Tamale Sports Stadium again. RTU, who remain bottom on the standings would need to put in a descent performance to upstage the Blues who have made a good start to the season and appear the better the side going into the clash.

King Faisal would meet Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Stadium while Liberty Professionals trek to Kpando to face Heart of Lions.
