The media rights deal to the Glo Premier League held by Gateway Broadcast Services (GBS) has been terminated by the Ghana Football Association.

According to the FA, the decision to end the deal which entered its second season this year has been necessitated by the liquidation of Gateway Broadcast Services Limited as announced by its board on 30th January, 2008.

A statement issued Wednesday by GFA, said: “Pursuant to clause 9.1.1 of our MEDIA RIGHTS HEADS OF AGREEMENT, signed on 10th December, 2007, we hereby exercise our right to terminate the said Agreement.

“This Agreement is due to your announced liquidation on 30th January 2009.”
