After making way for the international fixtures last weekend, the Glo Premier League returns this Sunday with some fascinating match-ups on the agenda.

Though early on in the season with just six games played, some big-name clubs have so far struggled to live up to pre-season expectations.

The outcome of the match-day-7 fixtures could witness a change over on the table, both at the top and bottom.

Hearts of Oak, AshantiGold, Liberty Professionals and King Faisal will have another chance to get back on track this weekend, though none have any easy games.

Just like every other season, Kessben always gets off the campaign to a great start and there is little surprise to find Bashir Hayford's side on top of the standings.

Kessben would seek to maintain their position with the trip to the Len Clay Stadium where they clash with AshantiGold, who are lying 10th on the table. The Miners who have lost once at home this season would be determined to prevent defeat as they seek to build on their impressive home win over Mighty Jets.

Hearts of Oak fans had high hopes that the arrival of Paa Kwesi Fabin would herald a new era for the Phobians but a slow start that has produced two wins, two defeats and two draws has left those same supporters wondering if they could challenge for the title.

It might still be early days yet but the Phobians have failed to impress and the trip to the Robert Mensah Stadium against Ebusua Dwarfs leaves them with a rather big test.

After having their last game called off due to a clash of stripes, Asante Kotoko return to their favourite Baba Yara Stadium to welcome Real Tamale United.

RTU, who have had a stuttering start to the current campaign are one step above bottom and six points adrift their opponents. Kotoko are tipped to grab all three points as they aim for the summit but Telat Uzum, their former coach now with RTU would something to prove.

Champions Aduana, the only side still unbeaten this season appear to have the best chance of moving to the top of the table in the event the leaders slip. But a meeting with fourth-placed Bechem Chelsea at the Golden City Park could just be a tough task for them if they are to realize their hopes.

All Stars gradually fall off the pace at the top after two consecutive bad results. The Blues would be hoping to get their campaign back on track with the visit of King Faisal to the Wa Park.

Having consistently underachieved, Liberty would see the meeting with Berekum Arsenals at the Carl Reindorf Park as an opportunity to improve their position.

B.A. Stars would clash with New Edubiase at the Coronation Park in a fixture that can go either way.

Bottom side Mighty Jets would host Heart of Lions at the El-Wak Stadium to complete the round-up of the weekend's fixtures.
