The Football Association has provided essential officiating equipment for referees as part of its continued commitment to their welfare and professional development during the ongoing 2026/27 football season.

Referees officiating in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) have received new officiating and training materials to support them in the effective discharge of their duties throughout the season.

Each referee has been provided with two pairs of boots, three sets of officiating uniforms in different colours, and three warm-up uniforms.

The distribution forms part of the GFA’s continued investment in improving the working conditions of match officials and ensuring that referees are adequately equipped for the demands of the new season.

This is in fulfilment of the GFA’s sustained support for referees and assistant referees under the leadership of GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, as the Football Association continues its efforts to strengthen the welfare, professionalism and preparedness of match officials across its competitions.
