Port City FC staged an impressive comeback to defeat Hakla SC 2-1 at the Nania Park on Sunday. The home side opened the scoring through Robinho Yao Gavi in the 23rd minute, but Port City responded before halftime as Korblah Junior Kedzie equalized in the 40th minute. Kedzie completed his brace in the 84th minute to seal the win for the visitors, earning him the Player of the Match award. Port City FC now sit second on the table with 17 points from eight matches.

Okwawu United climbed to fourth in the Zone Three table after edging Na God FC 1-0 at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman. Mustapha Issah proved to be the difference, scoring in the 33rd minute to secure all three points for the hosts. The former Premier League side have now collected 14 points from eight games this season.

Also, Golden Kick SC snapped their two-game winless run (D1, L1) with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over FC Nania at the Tuba AstroTurf on Saturday, securing their fifth win of the season — the joint-highest in the Zone. Defensive midfielder Adomba Kofi Aninagyei broke the deadlock just two minutes into the second half after a dull, goalless first half. Golden Kick SC have now amassed 16 points from eight matches in the League.
