PLB, Referees Committee deliberate ahead of season

The Premier League Board (PLB) and the Referees Committee of the Ghana Football Association have held fruitful discussions ahead of the commencement of the Premier League next weekend.

The meeting touched on many issues, with the key area focusing on improving officiating in the upcoming season.

The PLB called on the Referees Committee to ensure improved officiating by engaging the services of referees who show competence and integrity in the discharge of their duties.

Newly-apointed chairman of the Referees Committee and a member of the GFA Executive Committee member, Nii Kormiete Doku assured the PLB his committee would do its utmost best to to improve officiating in the upcoming season.

The Premier League will kick on February 20, 2016.
