PLB condemns fan troubles

The Premier League Board has called for greater fan tolerance in the Glo Premier League following pockets of violence over the weekend.

PLB Chairman, Welbeck Abra-Appiah says such problems has to be condemned and and stated that they "will act decisively" to ensure that offenders are reprimanded.

"There will be a strong reaction from the appropriate organs of the Ghana Football Association. We cant just allow such acts to take place," the PLB Chairman said on Monday.

"We will act decisively to maintain the league's integrity. Clubs and their fans will have to be part of the solution and we expect greater tolerance and the proper use of the right organs to address concerns."

A group of Mighty Jets fans attacked the CEO of AshantiGold, Kudjoe Fianoo after Saturday's league match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Later on Sunday, referee Patrick Kyeremateng was physically abused at the Robert Mensah Stadium where Dwarfs played Aduana Stars.
