The final day matches in Zones II and III in the Division One playoffs will determine which sides qualify for the premiership.

After the second round of matches, Medeama FC and Dwarfs are set for a fierce final clash to decide who plays in the Premier League next season. Both sides have two wins apiece ahead of their clash this weekend.

Medeama moved top the standings in Zone II with a better goals difference after a 5-2 victory over Westham United at the Tema Park on Thursday.

The hopes of former premier side, Dwarfs were kept alive as they managed a 1-0 win against Mine Stars at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Both Medeama and Dwarfs go head-to-head on Monday at the Ohene Djan Stadium to decide who earns the sole qualification ticket from the zone.

The battle in Zone III technically is still opened to all four sides. The bottom-placed side on the table has one point while the leaders are on four points going into the final day games.

Mighty Jets held onto the top spot despite drawing goalless with Tema Youth in Cape Coast.

Pure Joy FC moved second on the table after their 3-2 win over FC Nania, who drop to the bottom of the table.

Tema Youth plays Pure Joy on the last day while the rivalry between Mighty Jets and FC Nania will be renewed once again.

As the two groups conclude their campaigns, teams in Zone I will commence their promotion quest this weekend and on Monday.

Upper East Stars, B.A Stars, Bazooka FC and Bechem FC are all involved in the battle for promotion from Zone I.
