In a thrilling conclusion to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, FC Samartex has emerged victorious as league champions for the first time in the Club's history.

The team secured the prestigious title after a nail-biting final league match against Accra Lions FC at the Nsenkyire park on Sunday, June 16,2024, where they clinched a 2-0 win to seal their place at the top of the league table with 61 points.

The decisive moments came in the 9th minute  and the 85th minutes when  Emmanuel Mamah and Emmanuel Ocran scored respectively, amidst a charged atmosphere at their home ground.

FC Samartex demonstrated resilience throughout the game , ultimately ending the season with a scoreline that reflected their determination throughout the campaign.

This feat marks a significant achievement for FC Samartex, highlighting their dominance and consistency throughout the league season.

Fans erupted into celebrations as the final whistle confirmed their team's championship status, with players and coaching staff jubilantly embracing on the pitch.

The trophy presentation ceremony was a moment of joy and pride for the entire club, as GFA Vice president Mark Addo handed over the league trophy to the captain of the side amid cheers from their loyal supporters.

Looking ahead, FC Samartex now prepares for upcoming challenges on both domestic and potentially continental fronts, aiming to build upon their success in the 2023/24 season.

As champions of the Ghana Premier League, they have set a high standard for future campaigns, with aspirations of further glory in national and their upcoming CAF Club assignments.

Coincidentally, Accra Lions FC also finished the season as runners up to FC Samartex with 51 points.
