The Black Galaxies suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to Bafana Bafana in an international friendly played at the Dobsonville Stadium on Tuesday. A 57th-minute strike from Sipho Mbule proved decisive as South Africa wrapped up their final preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, despite a spirited and disciplined performance from the Black Galaxies. The Black Galaxies will now turn their attention to the 2026 CHAN qualifiers, with the encounter against South Africa serving as valuable international exposure for the team.
