Ghana defender John Paintsil has set his sights on helping the Black Stars pick their second consecutive victory in the 2012 Nations Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars play Sudan at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday after getting their campaign off to a 3-0 win against Swaziland in Group I.

Despite a being a regular and consistent performer for Ghana, Paintsil who captained the Black Stars in the first qualifier has surprisely found his opportunities limited at club level.

But Paintsil has blanked all club issues as he focuses on the up-coming game for Ghana.

"It all depends on me and how hard I work. But I don't want to spend my time on Ghana duty discussing Fulham."

The right back who was a regular at the London club for two seasons has lost his place in the side under new manager Mark Hughes.
