Black Stars defender John Paintsil lis backing members of the men's U-20 team to excel at next month's Africa U-20 Youth Championship.
Ghana have qualified for the finals of the competition in Algeria.
Paintsil, on Wednesday visited the team at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre for Excellence where he donated assorted drinks to the team which was received by coach for the side, Sellas Tetteh and captain Lawrence Lartey.
The Black Satellites are preparing for the finals and are determined to win again after their last title success in 2010.
Paintsil, who was a part of the Black Satellites team that placed second at the 2001 Fifa U-20 World Cup urged the current squad to do their best and make Ghana proud at the competition.
