Ghana striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie scored on his debut for English side Birmingham City as they beat Wycombe 4-0 eased into the second round of the Carling Cup.
The 22-year-old second-half substitute put the gloss on the final score line with a neat curling shot with four minutes remaining.
Owusu-Abeyie joined the Champions side last week on loan from Spartak Moscow until January.
Birmingham will hand him a permanent deal if he impresses but Blues boss ALex McLeish says the Ghanaian can help in their quest for a quick return to the Premier League.
"It was a great finish from Quincy and he proved in the time he had on the pitch that he has got plenty of skill and pace," McLeish said.
"He's a very lively player and will be even better once we get him fit to play 90 minutes.
"He wants to be a big player for us and hopefully he will be."
Owusu-Abeyie played for Arsenal before leaving to join Spartak Moscow.
He spent last season on loan to Spanish side Celta Vigo.
